1. Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Declotr account directly from within the app. When you delete your account, your personal data is anonymized and your account is deactivated.

Steps to delete your account in the app:

  1. Open the Declotr app on your device.
  2. Go to Profile (tap the profile icon in the bottom navigation).
  3. Tap Settings (gear icon).
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  5. Confirm your request when prompted.

Your account will be deleted immediately. This action is irreversible.

Important: You must complete or cancel all active or pending orders before deleting your account. If you are a seller, all seller orders must also be fulfilled or cancelled first.

2. Request Data Deletion Without Deleting Your Account

If you would like specific personal data to be removed without deleting your entire account, you can contact us directly. We will review your request and remove any data that is not required for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.

To request data deletion:

Send an email to [email] with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the following information:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your Declotr account
  • A description of the data you would like deleted

We will respond to your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of confirmation.

3. What Data Is Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed or anonymized:

  • Personal information: Name, email address, phone number, date of birth, gender, profile picture
  • Authentication data: Password, login tokens, FCM tokens
  • Seller profile: Business name, bank details, wallet data (if applicable)
  • User-generated content: Product listings, reels, reviews, and comments associated with your account
  • Favorites and follow relationships

4. What Data Is Retained

Certain data may be retained for a limited period after account deletion for the following reasons:

  • Transaction records: Order history and payment records are retained for up to 7 years for accounting, tax, and regulatory compliance purposes. These records are anonymized and cannot be linked back to your identity.
  • Legal obligations: Data required to comply with applicable laws, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
  • Fraud prevention: Minimal data may be retained to prevent fraudulent activity and protect the safety of our users.

5. Processing Time

  • In-app account deletion: Processed immediately upon confirmation.
  • Email data deletion requests: Acknowledged within 5 business days, completed within 30 days.

In both cases, anonymized transaction records are retained as described in Section 4.
